Alex was born and raised in the heart of Little Saigon and is now living with three other filmmakers in LA.

In his childhood, Alex dove head-first into enjoying all kinds of media. He can clearly picture the vast and freeing fields of The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, the surreal yet humorous horror of Courage the Cowardly Dog and the hype of waiting for next year's Youtube Rewind (rest in peace).

​

As a filmmaker today, Alex subconsciously wears his inspirations on his sleeve.​ While he believes in having fun in every step of the creative process, he also believes in the importance of having a voice, or a "why" in everything you make. This mindset is reflected in his work; work that is inspired by his life lessons while maintained with a sense of levity.

Alex can be found playing the next interesting indie game or running with his dog Katsu.
